In 2020, I was engaged in a project that involved a redesign of Biolizard’s website, aimed at effectively showcasing their services through visual elements. This encompassed a comprehensive revamp of both the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), in collaboration with the client to ensure the services’ clear comprehension. The project’s requirement for a user-friendly update process and future scalability led to the choice of building the website using WordPress.
Through simplifying the navigation and enhancing content clarity, we successfully streamlined the user journey, facilitating an improved understanding of Biolizard’s services and facilitating service requests.
The intricate nature of the scientific industry necessitated a careful approach to present the services accurately. To address this, I closely collaborated with a copywriter to distill the complex information into easily graspable content, making it more conducive to a marketing-oriented website.
In my role, I crafted wireframes and designs tailored for both mobile and desktop displays. Additionally, I created icons, components, and a comprehensive design system that provided a framework for the developer’s work. My active involvement extended throughout the development process, collaborating closely with the development team from the initial wireframe phase to ensure coherence and high-caliber output.
The final iteration of the website garnered favourable responses, with the client expressing immense satisfaction with the outcome.
