How we collaborated / worked together with client and result
I began working on the project in 2022. I was asked to improve the current web product through a redesign of the UX. They were looking for a simplistic, clean, modern and user friendly product that aligns with the competitor market and meets AA compliance.
I started with an audit of their current product and their user pain points. I worked closely with the client to understand the various journeys for each feature and functionality. I focused on reducing the time spent to complete tasks and improved the real estate usage on the page.
The client needed a design system to flesh out the product for future iterations that would require minimal customization. From here I redesigned the features into various templates using these components.
The software
The software encompasses:
- Budgets
- Project Management
- Purchase Orders
- Reporting
- Profiles and permissions

Learnings and outcomes
- A full audit of the product before working on the pain points allows for a more strategic approach.
- When building out a design system for future iterations, independent of design, it is best to cover as many avenues and use cases as possible. Provide a lot of documentation.
