Client Collaboration and Results
Starting in mid-2022, I was responsible for creating a website aimed at marketing services to small, women-owned businesses and encouraging sponsorship to fund a non-profit organization.
To achieve this, I created wireframes and designs for both mobile and desktop displays, as well as developed components and a final design system for the developers. These efforts were instrumental in successfully promoting the services and securing funding for the non-profit.

Learnings and Outcomes
Working on this project was a rewarding experience for me, as it involved supporting a cause that I am passionate about. It was satisfying to see that both the client and users were pleased with the final project outcomes.
In addition, I found that creating a design system for the project greatly assisted the development team and contributed to the success of the website.
Furthermore, during the project, I discovered that there is limited imagery available in stock image libraries that accurately represents South Africans in the tech industry. This underscores the importance of promoting diversity and inclusion in all areas of design, including visual representation.
